5 Reasons You Can’t Miss WordCamp Denver

On Monday, we introduced the last round of speakers and we officially unveiled the schedule for WordCamp Denver.

This year’s WordCamp is looking better than ever and tickets are going fast!  Just one question: have you bought your ticket yet??

There are less than 100 tickets left.  Still on the fence about going to WordCamp Denver?  Here are five reasons you have to buy your ticket right now, before they sell out:

1. Amazing Speakers You Won’t Find Anywhere Else

We received a ton of speaker applications this year and were able to choose some truly great speakers – with an emphasis on finding amazing talks that are not already on WordCamp.tv.  Whether you’re interested in learning more about design, development, business, or growth, we have an expert lined up to talk about it.

2. Interactive Sessions Where You Get YOUR Questions Answered

WordCamp Denver is more than just a conference where you shuffle from room to room listing to talks the organizers found interesting.  Yes, we have amazing talks that we’re sure you’ll love, but we also have a number of Town Halls planned on eCommerce, Growth/Marketing, Business, Development and Community Organizing.  The sixth town hall will take the form of a design critique modeled after the immensely successful “CritiquePress” we hosted last year in which attendees can get their websites critiqued in real-time.  The Town Hall format lets you ask the speakers a number of questions on a specific topic.  Is there something you need to know that will help your website or business succeed?  At WordCamp Denver, you can sit face-to-face with experts in a variety of areas and get answers to your questions.

3. You’re Invited to the Hallway Track

Everyone has heard about the unofficial third (or fourth or fifth) track at WordCamp – the hallway track where you can meet and connect with other attendees and speakers – but not everyone knows how to find it.  Sunday morning, join us for a Social Sidebar before the morning’s sessions start.  It’s like the hallway track to the max.  We’ll have some breakfast foods to nosh on, and selected speakers be manning designated Discussion Hubs for those who want to talk design, development, growth / marketing, business, or meetups. We’ll also have a business-free zone for those who would rather talk about scary clowns or cat videos.

4. The After Party

What’s a WordCamp without an after party?  Saturday evening after sessions end, join us for a fun night out in Denver.  This is where the real magic happens – meet and connect with someone new or hang out with an old friend.  We’re putting together something fun only for WordCamp attendees at Stem Ciders.  Stay tuned for more details, but rest assured this will be the perfect opportunity to kick back and talk shop with other people who understand just what it is that you do.

5. Cool WordPress Swag, Free Lunch, and an Awesome Location in Downtown Denver

Yes, this more than one reason, but limiting ourselves to just 5 reasons why you you can’t miss WordCamp Denver is way too hard!  November 5th and 6th is going to be an amazing weekend filled with all you could ask for in a conference and more, all for just $40.

Whether you’re a freelancer, a business owner who uses WordPress on a single website, or a professional designer/developer, there’s something at WordCamp for you.   There’s only a few tickets left and you don’t want to miss it!
