Call for Volunteers

be awesome volunteer for WordCamp Denver

We’re hard at work planning for a great WordCamp and need your help!

Where Volunteers Are Needed

All WordCamps, in order to run smoothly, rely on a great team of volunteers who enjoy being involved in the WordPress community and spreading the WordPress love.  We’re looking for volunteers to help with everything from registration/check-in to serving as a room host or recording sessions (it’s as easy as pushing a button at the beginning of each talk!) to being present in our community lounge. If you’re willing to be a triage person – helping anywhere you’re needed (hopefully no medical skills necessary) – that’s even better!

Volunteers can help for an hour or two, or help out for the entire event.  Either way, you’ll be part of making WordCamp Denver great.

Volunteer Perks

Volunteering at a WordCamp is a great way to meet new and interesting people in the WordPress community.  You’ll get:

  • A behind-the-scenes look at how the WordCamp magic happens.
  • Recognition for your efforts – give us your Twitter handle and we’ll tweet a special “Thank You” shout out.
  • Free WordCamp admission.
  • A special volunteer badge so everyone at WordCamp knows how awesome you are.

If you think you might be interested in volunteering for WordCamp, please fill out our volunteer form on the Volunteer Page.  Once we’ve received your information, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with extra information.
